About Us

Our Country

In the picture is the waterfall it is on Jawoyn country. This is were our dreamtime stories come from. The falls are a very important part of Jawoyn country so this place is very sacred.

"When I was child I used to come to this waterfall with my family for hunting and fishing, and when i was little I used to sit down with my grandfather and he use to tell me alot of dreamtime stories about this place." Cerise Farrell

My name is Stuart, I work for Charles Darwin University in the Community Services Top End VET Team. I have been here training Youth workers to work in the Wugularr Youth Centre.

I am currently completing a Masters Degree in Education, and I am doing a research project as part of my teaching. I want to find out ways which we can get community members more involved in VET training and how the university can work with aboriginal communities like Wugularr better.
